My business name, Zartarel, means “to decorate” in Armenian. Creating, decorating, and making beautiful, artsy things has always been a part of who I am. Long before photography, I was drawn to design, textures, colors, and storytelling through visuals.Becoming a photographer wasn’t something I planned—but it grew naturally from my love for creativity, my love for babies, and my deep appreciation for meaningful imagery. How My Journey as an NJ Newborn Photographer Began

Many photographers start with a camera and grow from there. My path was different. When I decided newborn photography was what I wanted to do, I didn’t even own a professional camera yet. Instead, I invested in education first—online courses, professional workshops, and mentorships. (Yes, I watched YouTube videos too—but I also committed to structured learning and hands-on training.Only after building a strong foundation did I purchase my first professional camera. From there, I continued my education with in-person mentorships, workshops, and constant practice.

Today, I truly love what I do. And as funny as it may sound, I build a real connection with every baby I work with.
